David Peters has helped hundreds of couples reach their Fertility
goals in the Triangle area. He has worked closely with Reproductive
Endocrinologists from NCCRM and Carolina Conceptions to enhance IUI and
IVF protocols. He has developed treatment plans for many patients of UNC and Duke University Fertility clinics. He has assisted patients working with OB/GYNs in the area to conceive and carry full
term. He has also introduced newlywed couples to Traditional Chinese
Medicine that want to enhance their own natural Fertility ability. He
has even helped many Fertility patients conceive that have been told by
MDs that they had no chance of conceiving. He also supports and guides
patients that have to make tough decisons like using donor egg, donor
sperm, adoption, or even learning to accept living with no children to
call their own.
David began his quest in the medical relam while earning a
pre-medicine Bachelors degree in Chemistry at Florida Atlantic
University in Boca Raton, FL. He began exploring Traditional Medicine when it helped his chronic neck pain from a high
school wrestling injury. He was so impressed with the power of
Traditional Medicine after trying several Western methods of treatment
to cure his pain and discomfort, that he enrolled in Wellness Massage
Therapy Institute in Willowbrook,IL. He began learning Jin Shin Do
acupressure, several Oriental massage techniques, and Taoist Arts of Longevity. He
began exploring TaiJi, Qigong, and Meditation with his guiding mentor
Rene Ryan.
After spending three years in the Chicago area, he decided to
move to West Palm Beach, FL to start a Massage therapy practice with a
friend. He worked with a large Physical Therapy practice for seven
years perfecting his skills in treating Musculoskeletal disorders.
While working, David began his training at (ATOM)Atlantic Institute of
Oriental Medicine where he attained his Masters Degree in Oriental
Medicine. He had the privilege of learning from another influential
mentor Dr. Fu Di,MD. This instructor did not just teach his students
the basic of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he taught his students how
to be a good doctor. He is on staff at the University of Miami where he
teached future MDs about Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also the
co-author of San Zhen Therapy
(Three Needle Technique). David would also like to mention the clinical
influence of ATOM's President Johanna Chu Yen and Dr. Peilan Yao. These
women were Western trained Gynecologists in China that also were
trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was their guidance and
training that sowed the seed of David's exploration into becoming a
Fertility Specialist.
Conceiving a child is a truly remarkable and miraculous event. For
most, this event is taken for granted that it will happen naturally.
For some, this event does not and sometimes cannot happen without the
intervention of Eastern and/or Western medical therapies. It can cost
thousands of dollars, cause much heartache along the way, and put a
strain on or even break up marriages. David's relentless pursuit of
knowledge and passion for aiding others in this situation is what
drives his success.
